The Connecticut Health Foundation believes that early identification of mental health issues in children can prevent them from entering the juvenile justice system or deep-end treatment.

With a grant from CT Health, the Center for Children’s Advocacy conducted a longitudinal study of 102 of their clients’ educational records to identify early mental health risk factors that had been missed by the educational and health care delivery systems.
